Our team is at the heart of everything we do, combining experience, continuity and a genuine commitment to patient care.
Kilbarchan Dental Practice has grown significantly since Dr Sheila Macintyre took ownership in May 2005. Originally a small, part-time practice established in 1983, it has developed into a modern, purpose-built clinic serving a large and loyal patient base.
In the early years, the practice expanded from two to three surgeries, before outgrowing its original premises on Steeple Street. In 2013, the practice relocated to Shuttle Street, where the existing practice was built from the ground up, allowing us to grow further and provide five fully equipped surgeries.
Over the years, the team has grown alongside the practice. Starting with a small core team, we now have six dentists, two hygiene therapists and a dedicated support team, caring for over 13,000 patient across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
Despite this growth, we have retained the same values we started with — a focus on patient comfort, continuity of care and a friendly, welcoming environment where patients feel genuinely looked after.

Since taking over the practice in 2005, my focus has always been the same — to create a place where patients feel comfortable, well looked after, and confident in their care.
Together with my team, we’re proud to provide high-quality dentistry in a friendly, welcoming environment, where every patient is treated as an individual.
