Principle & Associate Dentists

Dr Sheila Macintyre qualified from the University of Dundee in 1995 and has been providing high-quality dentistry in the West of Scotland ever since. She purchased Kilbarchan Dental Practice in 2005 and relocated the practice to its current modern premises in 2013. Sheila has completed further postgraduate training in intravenous sedation and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including clear aligner orthodontics and cosmetic treatments, helping patients achieve natural, confident smiles.

Fiona qualified from Glasgow Dental School in 2003 and joined Kilbarchan Dental Practice in 2007. Early in her career she gained additional experience in oral surgery and community dentistry, working with anxious patients and those with additional support needs. She gained her postgraduate qualification in sedation in 2014 and particularly enjoys restorative dentistry, helping patients restore both the function and appearance of their smiles.

Jillian qualified from the University of Dundee in 2004 and has been part of the Kilbarchan Dental Practice team since 2007. She has a special interest in orthodontics and provides Invisalign and fixed braces alongside general and cosmetic dentistry. Jillian is also qualified to provide IV conscious sedation for nervous patients and offers anti-wrinkle treatments and skincare advice. Between 2010 and 2014 she gained valuable experience working in Australia in hospital dentistry, general practice and rural care with the Flying Doctor Service.

Jenni qualified in dentistry in 2011, building on an earlier career in nursing, midwifery and public health. This background gives her a strong holistic understanding of patient care and wellbeing. She enjoys providing family dentistry and caring for patients of all ages, with a focus on prevention and helping anxious patients feel comfortable. Jenni is also trained in dental sedation and has undertaken extensive training in facial aesthetics, offering subtle treatments designed to enhance natural facial harmony.

Erin graduated from Dundee Dental School in 2019. After completing her vocational training in Glasgow’s Southside, she joined Kilbarchan Dental Practice in 2021 and has been a valued member of the team ever since. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients, helping them feel relaxed and confident during their visits. Erin has a particular interest in prevention and enjoys supporting patients in maintaining long-term oral health. Alongside general dentistry, Erin has completed training in facial aesthetics and offers anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers with a natural, patient-centred approach.

Lesley qualified from Glasgow University in 1988 and has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry. She is known for her gentle and caring approach and enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients. Her special interests include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including implant restoration and smile design. She has completed several advanced postgraduate restorative and implant courses and has also been involved in mentoring younger dentists.
